Seven students entered the National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Composers Competition.
Four of those students took either first or second place for their division and advanced to Regionals.
At Regionals, they competed against students in seven states.
I am proud to announce that these two students were winners for their division and advanced to Nationals!!
- First Place - Elementary Division - Student Fun Name "Supergirl" - Composition Title: "Ice Fishing"
- Second Place - Elementary Division - Student Fun Name "Softball" - Composition Title: "Kangaroo Dance"
At the National level, "Supergirl" took the Honorable Mention (5th place).

I am proud to announce that "Supergirl" was also a Runner-Up (2nd Place) in the 2020 Wisconsin Music Teacher's Association Young Composer's Competition!
